Dual Axis Positioner
Dual axis positioning instrument for use in an aerospace labaratory.

- Belt based drive combined with a worm gear system.
This product was manufactured using high precision CNC obtaining high structural and assmbly accuracy. The main body creates axial orthogonality of 0.01° and motion range of ±45° for each axis.
Using a belt driven worm gear we achived both very good accuracy and a self-locking mechanisem. The worm gear used is characterized with extremely small backlash which in turn addes to the machines accuracy and repeatability.
