This is an electro optical device which enables the alignment of helmet-sight with aircraft's principal axes.

A kinematic coupling aproach consisting of 3 v-groves against 3 spherical surfaces was applied, assuring high repeateability if the unit is replaced.

Nattymachines has also developed the alignment and harmonization tool-kit for the installation. Here again kinematic couplings are used to hold and align 2 boresight telescopes and an inclinometer.

The result is a high performance cost effective instrument.
